Tai Chi for Arthritis (TCA) features graceful movements that are easy on the joints. But don’t let the name fool you. You don’t need to have arthritis to benefit from this combination of Sun-style forms that cultivate strength and balance. Each one-hour class in the series will include warmups to get your Chi (life energy) moving, the offering and practice of a new form, and cool-down movements. The principles and philosophy of Tai Chi will be introduced.
This class is for participants who are new to Tai Chi or would like to learn or review the first six forms of TCA. This class is primarily geared toward people 55+, and/but if you are a bit younger there is definitely some wiggle room!
