Silver Lotus Tai Chi and Qigong Teacher Training Program – Lewes, Delaware

This in-person training (in Lewes, Delaware) is offered over four two-day weekends (Sept 9-10, Oct 14-15, Nov  11-12, and Jan 6-7), with self-paced study, practice, and student teaching in between. The program is great fun and highly personalized, providing in-depth fundamentals of history, philosophy, energy anatomy, teaching methodology, practice teaching and forms refinement. We focus on the first section of the Yang Style 24 forms and Silver Lotus warm-up exercises; but the training will prepare you to teach other forms as well. You will earn two certifications: one from Silver Lotus Training Institute, as well as instructor certification (or update) in Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention from the Tai Chi for Health Institute. The program is also offered to those who don’t want to teach, but simply want to immerse themselves in a deeper experience of Tai Chi and Qigong. If you do not want to earn a teacher certification, you are invited to register for and attend any of the individual weekends, or attend the program in it’s entirety but without the practice teaching requirements or the assignments.
